He’s been a highlight reel for the London Knights in the OHL and he’s the catalyst for excitement to the Toronto Maple Leafs and their fans. And on Thursday, the Leafs’ prospect was at it again against the OHL’s Erie Otters.

The NHL trade deadline came and passed with the Toronto Maple Leafs standing idle as others made moves to improve their team. While there was talk that the team could move first-year Leaf Dave Bolland, it seems they thought otherwise in the hope of possibly signing the soon-to-be unrestricted free agent centre.

While many believe that Bolland’s contract requests are far too much for a guy who’s spent most of the year on the injured reserve, I decided to point out some of the reasons why the Leafs need to consider signing the former London Knight.  Read more of this post

A former London Knight – a current Barrie Colt – Andreas Athanasiou signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
