It was my first National Football League experience – my first game and my first stadium visited. Although the game itself could be described as arguably the worst game of football ever played, the weather and the stadium made for a fun and interesting experience.

There is nothing like catching an NFL game in the pouring rain on a freezing, windy October day – where both teams only manage to score in single digits. But that’s what we got – the San Diego Chargers beat the Cleveland Browns 7-6 on October 28, 2012 in Cleveland.

However, the venue was surely a memorable one.

Cleveland Browns Stadium – soon to be known as FirstEnergy Stadium – is located in the North Coast Harbor. Next to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and the Great Lakes Science Center, the stadium is one of the biggest attractions in the area.  Read more of this post
