In the midst of a major losing streak, the Toronto Maple Leafs entered into a game against the Dallas Stars looking for anything to go their way. They needed something to go right – anything. 

They’ve been out shot way too many times. They’ve played undisciplined hockey leading to far too many penalties and powerplay goals by their opponents. And they just can’t seem to find a way to consistently put up offensive numbers.

Against Dallas they managed to turn the tables just slightly. They didn’t out shoot Dallas, but they played a more discipline game.
