Last season, there were some NHL eyes wandering his way. That was before he suffered injuries to both shoulders that cost him a fair amount of the season. Now? He’s back and he’s playing harder than ever to grasp their attention once again. 

Kelowna Rockets forward Carter Rigby is only 19 years old. But this season – in the Western Hockey League – could be one of his most important. Coming off double shoulder surgery in the offseason, the young physical forward has helped Kelowna make their way up the WHL standings.

The Hockey Writers sat down with the young gun to talk hockey, injuries and what’s next for Carter Rigby.
